Cecil of B&b construction is hands down one of the most creative, capable, and hard working general contractors you’ll ever come across. Throw your usual perceptions of compromise on the triangle of speed, quality and price out the window because with Cecil you’re getting all three every time. 

Creativity: In a row of 90 year houses with identical layouts, he was able to do something unseen by using the existing layout to add an additional bedroom and full bath while opening up the kitchen to make it the centerpiece of the house. Cecil was design build before it was a thing and we feel he’s an artist happens to be darn good at construction.

Capable: Other GCs said “impossible” or “will take too much time”…Not Cecil. He and the crew ended up rerouting HVAC and plumbing lines, installing a marbled out full bath in a underutilized pantry, even moving washer/dryer into an impossibly tight closet space. There are no “nos”, just “let me think about how I can.” And whereas design build firms wanted up to 20k just to draft their build plans in addition to the actual construction, Cecil used his own software to spit out a full on kitchen remodel in two days free of charge.

Hard Working: Like the old USPS motto, rain or shine you’re gonna see Cecil and his crew. Weekends and holidays I’d feel bad that he was working so hard if I didn’t know the pride he gets from outworking his competition. Three years on from the project, I can still call him and he’ll do a touch up, or check on his work if asked. Can’t beat that kind of accountability

We have used B&B Home Improvements and Cecil Berry on several major renovation projects at multiple locations, and have been very satisfied with the results.  Most recently B&B did an extensive kitchen renovation on our primary residence, and despite the typical challenges discovered with 100+ year-old home renovations, B&B delivered excellent results.  Because of Cecil’s skills in multiple trades, he was able to complete the project in significantly less time than what was proposed by other contractors I spoke with, while also providing several design suggestions that we incorporated into the new kitchen. We are very happy with the end-product and would certainly utilize B&B Home Improvements and Cecil Berry in the future.
